Once the marriage certificate is dropped off or mailed to the Recorder's Office, by the Officiant and/or Chapel, the certificate is typically recorded the same day.

Please call the Recorders Office at: 775-328-3660 for status.

Especially if it is within 10 days of the marriage date, we recommend calling the Recorder’s Office first to make sure it’s been recorded.
