Washoe County Regional Animal Services (WCRAS) only accepts stray animals between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. The individual that finds a stray animal outside of these hours would need to hold on to the animal until WCRAS opens. 

There is an emergency night drop off that law enforcement can use as well. They can contact their local law enforcement agency and they may be able to provide assistance should it be determined an emergency.
