Citizen Advisory Boards (CABs)

Citizens Advisory Boards (CABs) are organized meetings held on a regular basis for the purpose of bringing community members together to discuss topics of interest within their neighborhood, express ideas and concerns to Washoe County staff, and hear from subject matter experts.

Each CAB has set meeting dates and times: https://www.washoecounty.gov/CABS/ . Meetings are subject to change or cancellation, so please visit the CAB page three days prior to the scheduled meeting to see agendas or cancellation notifications. 

There are 8 CABs representing different geographical regions within Washoe County, divided by district and areas with similar concerns. These are:

CAB Members are appointed by the Commissioner within their district for three-year terms. To apply for consideration to be a CAB member, click here.
