What is the last day that I can register to vote?
Mail-in/In-Person/Agency registrations: This is what is known as Standard Registration and includes mail-in applications postmarked by the date below, those delivered in person, Automatic Voter Registration or Agency Applications.
- Primary Election: May 12, 2026
- General Election: October 6, 2026
Extended online Registration: Voters may register to vote or update their voter registration during this period by go to www.RegisterToVote.NV.gov . Voters must have a valid NV Driver’s License, Nevada DMV issued Identification Card or Tribal ID.
- Primary Election: May 13 – June 9, 2026
- General Election: October 7 – November 3, 2026
Same Day Registration (SDR): A valid Nevada Driver’s License, Nevada DMV issued Identification Card or Tribal ID (if residence not listed will need to provide proof of residency) to qualify for SDR. This can be done online or in-person at a vote center during the following periods. If done online, an individual is required to vote in person and will not receive a mail ballot.

- General Election: October 20 – November 3, 2026
