I’m receiving election-related mail, but I’m not sure if it is legitimate. How can I verify it?

Not all election-related mail is sent by official election offices. If the material you received was not issued by our office or the Secretary of State, it may have been sent by another organization or group and may not be official.
In some cases, our office becomes aware of these mailings through voter inquiries or by receiving completed materials. Occasionally, our office may even be listed as the return address without our knowledge.
If you are unsure about any election-related correspondence, we encourage you to contact our office directly. We are happy to help verify whether the material is official.
