All Washoe County business licenses, except for liquor and gaming licenses and certain special business types, are valid for one year from the date of issue and are renewed annually. Liquor and gaming licenses are valid for three months and are renewed quarterly (based on calendar quarters). Special business type license durations are outlined in question 7.
