How can I search for Power of Attorney records?

A Power of Attorney is searchable in the online real estate records section of the Office of the County Recorders website if recorded.
Below please find steps to doing the search:

Go to: Document Search and Copies

Click Online Official Records (Paper or Digital based on your preference)

Enter the name of the person the Power of Attorney pertains to in the Grantor/Grantee box: last name space first name (not case sensitive and do not use punctuation). If the document was recorded after 1991 it will come up in search records. If after 1999 an image will be available for viewing and download/print at no cost.

Under Document Types, choose Power of Attorney
